Introduction
everyBody Psychology & Wellbeing (EBPW, “the practice”) is committed to protecting your privacy. EBPW makes every effort to use systems and digital applications with high levels of encryption, and which comply with national Australian legislation and requirements. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information. It applies to all visitors to our website (http://www.everybodypsychology.com.au/) and individuals who use our services. Summarised here, we encourage you to read the full policy, available on request from your clinician or the Admin Team.

Information We Collect
We may collect:

  • Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, credit card details and other information you provide voluntarily (e.g., when booking a session).

Purpose of holding personal information
Your personal information is collected and used for the purpose of providing our services to you. This information and record keeping is a necessary part of the services provided and guides your treatment.

Confidentiality of information
All personal information collected during the provision of the health service will remain confidential and secure except for certain circumstances as required by law or where required because a clinician must make a mandatory report about a concern. We will seek your consent to share information with family members or carers, and others involved in your care, such as GPs or other professionals.

Psychologists are required to consult with and receive supervision from colleagues from time to time, in order to provide you with the best possible care. In any such consultations, you will not be personally identified.

How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:

  • Provide services and communicate with you.
  • Improve our website and offerings.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we may share it with:

  • Third-party service providers supporting the compliant operation of the practice including payment processors, hosting providers, accountants, bookkeepers, lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers. EBPW takes reasonable steps to ensure third party services use any information only for the purpose of providing the services required, and in compliance with the provisions of this privacy policy (or equivalent standards).
  • Authorities, if required by law.

Data breach plan
In the event that any unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss of a client’s personal information occurs, EBPW will activate its data breach plan and use all reasonable efforts to minimise any risk of serious harm to you as a consequence.
