Nina Weiss

Nina sees children, young people and young adults, and is available Thursdays

Nina is a compassionate dietitian with a passion for supporting individuals to build positive relationships with food and their bodies. She works collaboratively with clients to translate evidence-based practice into sustainable, individualised nutrition strategies. Nina is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to reconnect with food in a way that feels both safe and sustainable.

Nina has experience working across generalist clinical settings and specialist eating disorder services, including contributing to the establishment of Australia’s first public residential eating disorders treatment centre in Canberra.

She works with adults, as well as children, adolescents and their families, supporting recovery from a range of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).

Qualifications and Memberships

Nina holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Metabolism, and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and registered Medicare provider. She is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (dietitian) and has published several research articles.
